- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave, then mix it with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the mashed bananas.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool before transferring them to a wire rack.
