- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sausage gravy (store-bought or homemade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the biscuit mix and milk in a mixing bowl until just combined.
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Layer the biscuit mixture, cooked sausage, and half of the cheese in a baking dish.
- Beat the eggs and mix them with the sausage gravy, then pour this over the biscuit layer.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
