Description

A warm, creamy Butter Chicken that brings comfort and flavor to your dining table, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, garam masala, cumin, paprika, and salt, mixing well.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.

Notes

Butter Chicken can be made ahead and stored for leftovers. It tastes even better the next day.
