A comforting Chicken Chow Mein recipe with tender chicken and crisp vegetables, ready in just 30 minutes.

- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and onion, and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add bell peppers and carrots, stir-frying until just tender.
- Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Add the cooked chicken and bean sprouts to the pan, then pour the sauce over the mixture. Stir well until everything is coated and heated through.
- Add the cooked noodles, tossing everything together until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
