Description

Rich and indulgent layers of chocolate chip cookie dough and creamy cheesecake create the perfect comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the cookie dough in the freezer for a few hours to make it easier to slice.
  3. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
  4. Sit one large egg out until it is at room temperature.
  5. Line a 13×9″ pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil to make removal easy.
  6. Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4″ pieces and place them in the bottom of the lined pan.
  7. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  9. While the crust is baking, beat the softened cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla together using an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  10. Spread the cheesecake batter over the crust as soon as it comes out of the oven.
  11. Slice the remaining cookie dough and gently place it on top of the cheesecake layer.
  12. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.
  13. Allow the bars to cool before refrigerating for a few hours.
  14. Slice and serve these decadent treats.

Notes

For best results, allow the bars to cool completely before slicing. These bars can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
