Description

Delight your guests with these warm and comforting Christmas finger foods that are easy to prepare and perfect for any holiday gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)
  • 2 cups of cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 package of mini sweet peppers
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • Assorted fresh herbs (like parsley and chives) for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into squares. Place a spoonful of shredded cheese and chopped turkey bacon in the center of each square.
  3. Fold the corners of the pastry to the center, creating little pockets, and press them down with a fork to seal.
  4. Arrange the pastry bites on the baking sheet, brush the tops with melted butter, and bake for about 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  5. Mix together ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Roll into small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Cook the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 10-12 minutes. Simmer in marinara sauce for extra flavor if desired.
  7. Slice the mini sweet peppers in half, remove seeds, fill with cream cheese, and top with fresh herbs.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

These finger foods can be customized with your favorite ingredients. Consider trying variations like cheesy spinach puffs or zesty Italian meatballs.
