Description

Ingredients

  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup cooked taco meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (for dipping)
  • Oil (for frying or brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan for frying.
  2. Place a tortilla on a clean surface and spread a few tablespoons of taco meat evenly across it.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over the meat, then add a spoonful of salsa.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly, securing it well. Use a toothpick if needed.
  5. Arrange the rolled taco sticks on a baking sheet if baking, or carefully place them in hot oil if frying.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or fry until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with a side of sour cream for dipping!
