Description

A comforting and family-friendly dish filled with creamy tortellini and broccoli, topped with golden mozzarella and Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces tortellini
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook tortellini according to package instructions until just tender.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until tender, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, milk, mozzarella, sautéed garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Fold in the cooked tortellini and broccoli into the cheese mixture gently until well coated.
  7. Transfer the entire mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for that irresistible golden crust.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before diving in.
