Description
A refreshing blend of fragrant Earl Grey tea, vibrant raspberries, and a zesty hint of lemon, perfect for summer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups water
- 2 Earl Grey tea bags
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries (more for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lemon slice or a mint sprig for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brew the tea: Add half of the water (1 cup) to a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Toss in the raspberries and gently mash them to release their juices. Add the tea bags and steep for about 5 minutes.
- Strain & add lemon juice + sweetener: Carefully strain the brewed tea into a heat-proof pitcher, discarding the tea bags and raspberry pulp. Stir in lemon juice and sweetener, adjusting to taste.
- Chill: Add the remaining cup of cold water and place the tea in the fridge to cool completely.
- Serve: Pour the chilled tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish: Top each glass with fresh raspberries and optional lemon slice or mint sprig. Enjoy!
