Description

A refreshing blend of fragrant Earl Grey tea, vibrant raspberries, and a zesty hint of lemon, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries (more for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lemon slice or a mint sprig for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea: Add half of the water (1 cup) to a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Toss in the raspberries and gently mash them to release their juices. Add the tea bags and steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Strain & add lemon juice + sweetener: Carefully strain the brewed tea into a heat-proof pitcher, discarding the tea bags and raspberry pulp. Stir in lemon juice and sweetener, adjusting to taste.
  3. Chill: Add the remaining cup of cold water and place the tea in the fridge to cool completely.
  4. Serve: Pour the chilled tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  5. Garnish: Top each glass with fresh raspberries and optional lemon slice or mint sprig. Enjoy!

Notes

Make it ahead by preparing a day in advance. Use high-quality Earl Grey tea for the best flavor.
