  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Cream cheese frosting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with melted butter, stirring until well blended.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and salt, letting those flavors mingle.
  4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, bringing sweetness and warmth to the mix.
  5. Fold in the flour until just combined, avoiding overmixing for tender bread.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar together; this will be the special touch for the swirl.
  7. Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top, followed by the remaining batter.
  8. Swirl the batter with a knife to create a beautiful marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
