- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm with your favorite syrup or toppings and enjoy!
