Deliciously fudgy cookies that blend the richness of brownies with the chewiness of cookies—a perfect cozy treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stir together the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl until well blended.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined to keep cookies tender.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Drop heaping rounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops look set but are still slightly soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
