- 1 pound chicken breasts, cubed
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cubed chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, and stir to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet and mix well with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
Notes
You can prepare the sauce ahead of time and simply cook the pasta when you’re ready to serve. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
