Description

Delightful high protein pepperoni pizza rolls, perfect for a cozy dinner or snack, packed with cheese and pepperoni.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into small squares or rectangles, about 3 inches in size.
  4. Place a slice of pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Add a small dollop of pizza sauce on top of the cheese.
  6. Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and seal securely with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops of your rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  8. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Make ahead and freeze the assembled rolls, bake directly from frozen without thawing for easy meals later.
