Description

Delightful no-bake truffles made with Oreos and Irish cream liqueur, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: Cocoa powder or crushed Oreos for dusting

Instructions

  1. Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the Irish cream liqueur, blending until smooth.
  3. With your hands, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  4. Place the truffle balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil; microwave until melted and smooth.
  6. Carefully dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and let excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Once dipped, return each truffle to the baking sheet.
  8. For a special touch, dust with cocoa powder or crushed Oreos before the chocolate sets.
  9. Pop them back into the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

These truffles can be made up to a week in advance. For an alcohol-free version, use chocolate syrup or milk instead of Irish cream.
