Description

A delightful and easy recipe for quick pickled radishes that adds a burst of tangy flavor and vibrant color to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Optional: peppercorns, garlic, or herbs for flavor

Instructions

  1. Clean and slice the radishes. Begin by washing your radishes under cool water, removing any dirt or debris. Slice them thinly.
  2. Combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a pot. Bring it to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally until sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Place radishes in a jar. Choose your favorite glass jar, layering the crunchy radish slices inside. Add optional flavorings if desired.
  4. Pour the hot brine over the radishes until fully submerged.
  5. Let them cool to room temperature, then refrigerate. Enjoy after a few hours for best flavor.

Notes

These pickles taste even better after a day or two as the flavors meld together beautifully.
