Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  3. Top with half of the sliced onions, followed by half of the cheese.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, and cheese.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until the butter melts.
  6. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the layered potatoes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown and bubbly.
