Instructions
- Brown the meat: In a pan, brown the ground beef (or sausage) along with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Start layering: In your slow cooker, begin the layering process with a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom, followed by broken lasagna noodles.
- Add cheesy goodness: Spread a layer of ricotta cheese and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, then add a layer of the browned meat mixture.
- Repeat the layering process with sauce, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and meat until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of mozzarella on top.
