Description

Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Ground beef (or sausage)
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic, minced
  • Onion, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat: In a pan, brown the ground beef (or sausage) along with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Start layering: In your slow cooker, begin the layering process with a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom, followed by broken lasagna noodles.
  3. Add cheesy goodness: Spread a layer of ricotta cheese and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, then add a layer of the browned meat mixture.
  4. Repeat the layering process with sauce, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and meat until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of mozzarella on top.
  5. Season it right: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper generously over the layers.
  6. Set and forget: Cover your slow cooker and set it to cook on low for about 240-360 minutes.
  7. Serve with love: Once cooked, let it cool for a few minutes before serving to ensure beautiful slices.
