Description

A delightful fusion of flavors that feels just like home with savory beef and warm tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 taco-sized tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • Sliced pickles
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form balls.
  3. Place each ball on the skillet and use a spatula to smash it down into a thin patty.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove the patties from the skillet.
  6. To assemble the tacos, place a patty on each tortilla.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, pickles, and add any desired sauces like ketchup and mustard.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy while cozying up with loved ones!

Notes

For fresh tortillas, warm them in a dry skillet for a few seconds on each side. You can meal prep patties in advance.
