- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 taco-sized tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- Sliced pickles
- Ketchup and mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form balls.
- Place each ball on the skillet and use a spatula to smash it down into a thin patty.
- Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the patties from the skillet.
- To assemble the tacos, place a patty on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, pickles, and add any desired sauces like ketchup and mustard.
- Serve warm and enjoy while cozying up with loved ones!
Notes
For fresh tortillas, warm them in a dry skillet for a few seconds on each side. You can meal prep patties in advance.
