Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples

- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Whisk together the milk, eggs, and diced apples in another bowl until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat until hot.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
- Mix together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze until smooth and creamy.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve while they’re still cozy!
