Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you decide to bake your tots for a healthier option.
- Boil the sweet potato cubes until tender, about 15 minutes. Once they are soft, drain the water and mash them in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed sweet potatoes, mixing until everything is well combined.
- Form the mixture into small tot shapes, making sure they’re compact and ready for cooking.
- If baking, place the tots on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through to achieve that golden brown, crispy exterior. If frying, heat oil in a pan and fry the tots until they turn golden and crispy.
