Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried mango, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped dried mango and shredded coconut.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
